Homepage The wilderness ambassadors of WI
Whether environmental expert, musician, educator, or content creator - our wilderness ambassadors give their voice to wilderness protection.
With their high profile, they generate important attention for the old-growth forest. They speak about the importance of rainforests as an essential basis for life, and raise awareness that preservating these ecosystems, with all their biodiversity, is the greatest lever in the race against time to preserve the global climate and biodiversity for future generations.
Thanks to their commitment, we are able to reach far more people and make them aware of our work in nature conservation, environmental education and research. Together, we communicate knowledge in an appealing way.
At the same time, we can inspire many people to get involved and come a little closer to our common goal of preserving the last intact and most species-rich primeval forests in the world.
A big and sincere thank you for this!
Ambassadors usually see our projects for themselves on site, like Theresa Kirchner, Rick Azas, Jacob Beautemps and Felix Michels (from left to right).
These personalities are committed to old-growth forest protection with their communities.
With his fantastic photos, videos and FPV flights, Dennis has been taking his followers with him on his travels and into breathtaking nature for a long time - this time to our protected areas in the Canadian rainforest!
Antiques dealer Fabian is known from the TV show "Bares für Rares". He and his partner Yvonne are interested in nature and photography. In March 2024, they saw our work in Peru for themselves and have been protecting forests there ever since.
Hannah Kaises is a content creator and YouTuber, and already deals with many social and sustainable issues on her channels. As an ambassador for Wilderness International, Hannah is now actively campaigning for the protection of endangered wilderness areas around the world.
On his "Breaking Lab" channel, Jacob explains current scientific issues in an understandable way for a large audience. We discuss knowledge about the sea and whether wolves should be hunted.
Wohllebens Waldakademie is one of the most renowned private educational institutions for forest and nature topics in Germany, offering a wide range of events and training courses. Together with a 20-strong team, Wohllebens are also actively committed to protecting the forest with the primeval forest project.
Marie's mission fits in perfectly with ours: she wants to make the world a little greener! The passionate gardener shows her community the way to a simple and natural life, offers online courses and works with us to preserve endangered wilderness areas - for example as part of YouTopia or as part of Green Week in her online store.
On his adventurous travels, Otto Bulletproof has come to know and love many beautiful wilderness areas. As an ambassador for Wilderness International, he now wants to work with you to protect these unique ecosystems.
From sports and challenges to crocheting, Rick & Theresa offer a wide range of entertainment - and are now also using their fame to raise awareness of rainforest protection with challenges.
Robert is not afraid to travel, no matter how far or how dangerous, to raise awareness of important environmental and animal protection issues. With his Mission Earth Community, he gets involved where it is most urgent.
Thomas shows his exciting self-experiments on his YouTube channel. One of them was to travel with us to Peru in 2022, where he wanted to survive 24 hours in the rainforest to protect the forest with his community.
As "Tomatolix", Felix introduces his audience to exciting and important topics and professions through self-experiments. He spent 1 day with us as a wildlife photographer and 1 day as a whale researcher.
On their 6-month trip to South America 23/24, Yvonne and Jerry also spent a few days deep in the Amazon rainforest in Peru, where they were able to experience the uniqueness of this ecosystem. They now want to protect it with their community!
