Fräulein Draußen feels at home in the wilderness
On her travels, Kathrin, as Fräulein Draußen is actually called, prefers to be out and about in hiking boots or on her bike. Since 2013, she has been sharing her adventures with other people through stories and pictures and giving practical tips for anyone who is also drawn to the outdoors. Her blog is now one of the best-known outdoor travel blogs in the German-speaking world, and she has also become a book author.
Kathrin's work exemplifies a philosophy of authentic experience and shows how you can approach nature in a variety of ways and feel connected to it. In 2021, she decided to offset her trips - retrospectively and in the future - via Wilderness International.
