It's a wrap!!! We are still speechless, overwhelmed and happy! What began in June with the hosts of this livestream and an expedition to our protected areas in Canada culminated in a six-hour livestream on YouTube and Twitch on November 17, 2024:
Together with the participating creators, all the guests in the stream and your overwhelming support, we were able to protect 100,000m2 of rainforest forever!
We are delighted that so many of our wilderness ambassadors were also part of YouTopia!
I have been looking forward to YouTopia for a long time! My personal highlight was seeing how all the creators and partners were fully committed to the project and really passionate about protecting the rainforest. Some of them peppered me with curious questions, others had a sparkle in their eyes when I told them about our expeditions to the protected areas - there was just a great atmosphere behind the scenes!

Whether it was a clear-cutting alarm in the hairdressing salon, exciting game challenges such as destroying vases and then putting them back together again, a quiz with electric shocks, or when Ronny Berger built Lego tree models with experts, tasted resin and bathed in mulch - there was always entertaining information about rainforests and nature conservation. And together we reached thousands of viewers across 10 channels!

Grateful for so many famous faces who worked hard on a Sunday with lots of fun, power and creativity for old-growth forest protection to collect donations in this game show!
Thankful for all the helpers behind the scenes and the great support from companies such as MediaMarktSaturn, Ben & Jerry's, Ortlieb and many more, so that this event, this form of environmental education and the many protected square meters could take place at all.
