COOPERATION

Growing up on the family farm, I enjoyed the benefits of rural life and especially homegrown products. In search of a forward-thinking farm and food economy, I studied food management, milked cows, processed milk, handcrafted wine, marketed sustainable chocolate, worked in great restaurants and scoured half of Europe for artisan bakeries, tradition and novelty in food, colorful markets and the best snacks.
The more I came to understand business and the world, the more I understood how much the basic, small, simple things are at the core of our satisfaction. That direct trade, transparency in supply chains around the world, the idea of growing together and acting sustainably must define our future. This is what I want to support at Wilderness International: to better understand the relevance of the forest ecosystem with its multiple functions, to discuss solutions, and to implement conservation together with our partners.
