Wilderness Runs
Nowhere else do I feel as balanced and happy as when hiking through the forest (especially in autumn!). Nevertheless, I never thought I would end up working for an environmental protection organization. During my studies, I focused primarily on feminist studies with the goal of becoming involved in social justice in the long term. But if there's one thing I learned during my studies, it's that (in)justice systems can never be viewed in isolation from one another. Environmental protection is absolutely essential for social justice, and I am delighted to be able to pursue this goal together with Wilderness International.
In addition to my studies, I have been involved in youth education for many years, which is why I am particularly pleased to be responsible for wilderness runs at Wilderness. These charity runs at schools not only raise funds, but also give us the opportunity to promote environmental education to the entire society through the younger generation.
