I come from the Loreto region of the Peruvian Amazon, so the rainforest has always been part of my life. I am very happy to now be able to contribute to the protection of this forest as forest guardian Wilderness International.

As environmentalists, we do important work, because illegal logging, deforestation, and illegal mining destroy our flora and fauna, and with them one of the most important sources of oxygen on our planet. We must make our children and everyone else aware that the forest is the most important source of life for us humans, and we must take care of our planet.
