Rooted in Skincare

Support forest protection in Canada with Caudalie.

Wilderness International

At Caudalie, we believe that a commitment to clean beauty goes beyond the everyday use of natural-origin ingredients in our products.

With naturalness rooted in our skincare DNA, we extend our commitments to support ecological associations that work to preserve, protect, and sustain forestation, giving back to nature a little of what it gives us every day.

This Earth Day, we are reinforcing our pledge to protect the planet by taking action to support a greener Canada. In partnership with WildernessInternational, Caudalie is pleased to announce that we are donating for the protection of more than 300,000 m2 of protected primary forest in Northwest British Columbia to preserve its biodiversity.

Together, Caudalie and Wilderness International invite you to support the protection of Canadian ancient forests - one square meter at a time. With a minimum donation of $1.5 CAD, you can protect 1 square meter of Canadian forest and receive a personalized certificate with the geo-coordinates of the area.

Protect more forest

Since 2012, convinced that we must preserve the natural resources we use in our products, we joined the 1% for the Planet collective and dedicated 1% of our annual revenue to environmental protection and restoration. In 2024, we chose to collaborate with Wilderness International, an organization that buys land to protect carbon sink ecosystems in perpetuity. We understand that combating climate change cannot be limited to reducing greenhouse gas emissions alone. It's also essential to preserve and restore natural carbon sinks that absorb CO₂, as Wilderness International does. Our partnership with Wilderness International is a concrete example of our long-term commitment to environmental protection.

Turn one into two!

Your individual contribution determines the area we can protect in our wilderness area in Canada's temperate rainforest. Our rule of thumb shows you the impact of your donation:

$3 CAD

of your donation

is doubled by Sephora and thus protects

4 m2

of old-growth forest

and thus

160 m3

of wild habitat

forever

About Wilderness International

It all began with an enthusiasm for forests with huge trees - today, Wilderness International consists of three sister foundations: one in Peru, Canada and Germany. With one big goal: to protect the last unique forest and wilderness areas of the world forever.

To achieve this, we purchase wilderness areas, legally secure with an entry in the land registry, and protect them for the future.

The purchases are refinanced through donations. These also ensure the long-term protection of the areas. They also enable environmental education projects and research into CO2 storage and biodiversity.
