Wilderness International is a committed practice partner organization in the interdisciplinary "Service Learning praxiSDG" and is working on a guideline for climate-neutral university operations. The participants are also researching ways to establish the university's environmental management system and sustainability strategy in the form of a CO2 calculator to determine and offset the carbon footprint.
TUD is one of the largest technical universities in Germany and one of the leading and most dynamic universities in Germany. With 17 faculties in five areas, it offers a wide range of 124 degree programs and covers a broad spectrum of research. Its focus areas of biomedicine and bioengineering, materials science, information technology and microelectronics, energy and environment, and culture and social change are considered exemplary throughout Germany and Europe.
