With its many years of experience in restoration technology, Polygon Germany is an expert in fire and water damage. The Polygon team knows only too well how destructive fire can be. That is why it has launched a pilot project together with Wilderness International to protect the Peruvian rainforest with smart sensor technology. The system detects fires of all kinds as soon as they start. In this way, the forest can be protected from illegal activities. The technology actively supports the everyday lives of our forest guardian and also provides us with valuable air quality data for research. An innovative project for a sustainable and greener future.
As part of the project, Polygon Germany provided Wilderness International with EUR 20,000 for the intelligent sensors from Breeze Technologies and also protected 10,000 m2 of Peruvian rainforest.
