myMerch is a company founded in 2019 on Lake Chiemsee that designs, produces and distributes merchandise products for creators and influencers. myMerch values creativity, personality, individuality, customer friendliness, regional finishing and sustainability (certified suppliers, e.g. GOTS, PETA APPROVED VEGAN, OEKO TEX). The company has sent over 250,000 parcels to date and works with well-known creators such as Robert Marc Lehmann, Fabio Schäfer and Aljoscha.

The wilderness areas that myMerch protects in the temperate rainforest are located on Porcher Island on the west coast of Canada. They are the most species-rich ecosystem in the northern hemisphere. Their ancient giant trees provide a secure habitat for an incredible number of animal and plant species.
Among seaweed and kelp, a playful mink pursues its favorite food, abalone.

Nestled in soft layers of ancient sphagnum moss grows rare long-leaved sundew, its nectar drops glistening in a rare sunbeam. In the silence of the bog, it lures flies into its trap with its sticky tentacles.

The gnarled, old trees defy the harsh weather of the north coast. In the shelter of their thicket, otters can enjoy their seafood in peace, fertilizing the forest floor with the minerals from the shells.
In the sea, otters hunt for mussels and snails.

In Peru, the protected areas are located in the Madre de Dios region, not far from the city of Puerto Maldonado along the Tambopata River. The most species-rich ecosystem on earth can be found here: playful monkeys, mysterious jaguars and liana-covered jungle giants have their habitat here.
The view over the treetops of the rainforest is unique. Some giant trees can reach over 70 meters in height!
Imposing buttress roots provide stability for the jungle's giant trees.
Magnificent macaws regularly fly over the protected areas.
Along the Tambopata River, where our protected areas are located, there are still dense contiguous areas of rainforest.

You can also often see the cute capybaras there.

Why old-growth forest protection with WI?
myMerch was particularly impressed by Wilderness International's transparent and specific use of the donations: €1 donation protects 1 m2 old-growth forest - forever. Donors receive a certificate with the geo-coordinates and an aerial photo of the protected forest area, as well as a tax-deductible donation receipt.
