Fjordkind-Reisen takes on a forest sponsorship
Fjordkind-Reisen has been a conservation partner of Wilderness International since 2018. The specialist tour operator donates 20 m2 of temperate rainforest in Western Canada and Peru for every trip booked.
Customers are given the opportunity to donate an additional 10 m2, 20 m2 or 50 m2. Thanks to the joint donations, 15,000 m2 of wilderness has already been protected. The aim of the Fjordkind Reisen forest is to preserve original rainforests in the long term.
The Potsdam-based tour operator specializes in individually tailored family trips to the five Scandinavian countries. Whether active vacations in the form of hiking, kayaking or family bike tours, relaxed cottage vacations or unusual tours such as Northern Lights trips or forest hut adventures - Fjordkind-Reisen offers the planning of many trips to Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
Every vacation causes CO2 emissions, which is unfortunately unavoidable. Fjordkind-Reisen wants to make its trips environmentally friendly and sustainable in order to contribute to climate protection and the preservation of the rainforests.
