Since 2023, Clemens has been preparing us for emergency situations during our expeditions. Our team members learn how to put together emergency plans and sensible first aid kits for our outdoor situations. We also train how to treat joint injuries, hypothermia, animal bites, cuts and burns. Team cooperation must also be practiced for extreme situations.
Clemens Richter is an emergency doctor as well as an operational and training physician in the German Armed Forces. As "ExTac Doc", he offers exclusive High Performance Rescue Training (HPRT), which serves as professional preparation for medical emergencies in everyday life, on outdoor tours and during high-risk missions. The content of the training goes far beyond a normal first aid course and was developed by Clemens based on his many years of experience. In addition to emergency medical training, he is also a specialist in complex emergency planning, leadership and communication training - skills that are also irreplaceable on our expeditions.

Our biggest learnings: Preparation is everything, emergency plans must be clearly communicated and, in the event of critical bleeding, pressure must be applied immediately to stop the bleeding.
