How can you win?

You can enter the competition by following Wilderness International's Instagram profile, creating a story with links to Wilderness International and commenting on Wilderness International's competition post on our Instagram page. One of our wilderness protection certificates must be recognizable in the story and at least one other person must be linked in the comment under the post. 

Over what period will the competition take place?

The competition starts on 16.12.24 and ends on 26.12.24. 

Who can take part?

Participation is free of charge and open to any person who is at least 16 years old.

Who is excluded from participation?

The organizer is entitled to exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons, such as violation of these conditions of participation, manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Sweepstakes clubs and automated sweepstakes services are not eligible to participate. 

What can I win?
- Main prize for 1st place: Otinga bike backpack

- 2nd and 3rd place: a fanny pack from our partner Heimplanet and a water bottle from our partner Klean Kanteen. 

How are the winners determined?

The winners will be chosen at random from all participants. 

When will the winners be determined?
The winners will be determined and notified by January 7, 2025 at the latest.

How do I find out if I have won?

The winner will be notified by direct message via instagram.

How do I receive my winnings?

With the prize notification, the winner will be asked to provide the organizer with his/her correct name, address and date of birth. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided. Whether the prizes will be sent by post / email or whether they can be collected from one of our branches will be clarified individually with the winner.

What happens if I do not contact you after I have been notified of my winnings?

If a winner does not contact the organizer within 14 working days of being notified of the prize, the prize will be forfeited. The same applies in the event that a winner provides incorrect contact details and it is therefore not possible to send or hand over the prize.

Reservation clause

The organizer reserves the right to modify, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. However, this option will only be exercised if, for reasons of force majeure, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, the proper execution of the game cannot be guaranteed. The organizer is not liable for losses, cancellations or delays caused by circumstances that 

lie outside its area of responsibility.

The organizer stores and uses the data collected exclusively for the purpose of running the competition. All data will be deleted after the competition has ended. Data protection

Miscellaneous
Prize claims cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision. The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.
